It’s so good to see you.

Hey, Mik here—founder and CEO of Make Good Choices.

This movement started with a simple idea: that kindness should be visible. That care should be loud. That good choices—big or small—can ripple outward and change lives.

Make Good Choices is built on joy, connection, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen. It’s a reminder that your presence matters, your story matters, and your choices matter.

But this isn’t just theory for me—it’s lived experience.

I’ve battled depression, anxiety, and addiction. I spent years hiding it all, thinking I could “manage it on my own.” I know what it’s like to feel isolated, ashamed, and unsure of where you fit.

My whole life, I never felt truly included. I wasn’t “man enough,” I wasn’t “gay enough,” I wasn’t “enough.” And I would never wish that feeling on anyone.

So Make Good Choices was born.
For you. For me. For everyone.

We created this to make care visible—to turn kindness into culture, and to remind people that they’re not alone. That healing is possible. That joy is powerful. That community is everything.

I’m absolutely stoked that you’re here. That you believe in what we do. That you’re ready to champion this cause. If we ever meet, you’ll get a massive squeeze.

A movement born from lived experience, emotional complexity, and the radical belief that kindness can change everything.

We exist to challenge stigma and rewrite the narrative around mental health. From addiction to anxiety, depression to recovery, we believe that understanding begins with visibility—and that healing begins with compassion. Through the highs and lows of identity, mental health, and life’s unpredictability, we’ve seen how deeply words and actions can shape someone’s wellbeing.

That’s why we created Make Good Choices:
To offer light in the grey.
To make care visible.
To remind every person that the world is better with them in it.

We champion:

  • Kindness over cruelty—especially when someone’s struggling

  • Authenticity over perfection—because real stories change minds

  • Joy as resistance—in a world that often overlooks pain

  • Compassion as culture—not just a feeling, but a practice

  • Community as healing—because no one should face it alone

Our tone is warm, clear, stigma-reducing, and emotionally intelligent.
We speak to uplift, not to impress.
We design to include, not to exclude.
We advocate to educate, not to shame.

Because every good choice begins with understanding—and every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
