What's inside
A letter, not a feed.
Every issue is short enough to finish and useful enough to come back to. Here's what lands in your inbox each month.
A note from Mik
What's been on my mind this month, written the way I'd say it to you in person. Real, plain English, no polish.
What landed
The posts, ideas and moments from the month that people connected with, all in one place in case you missed them.
One thing to try
A single practical idea you can actually do, in real life, on a real day. Small steps count.
Community moments
Something from the MGC community that meant something to us. A reminder you're not doing this alone.
Every now and then you'll also get a soft heads-up about something new at MGC, told through why it exists. Never a hard sell.
Why join
A softer place to land, once a month.
For the people who care deeply, carry a lot, and could use a little less noise. You're allowed to be human here.
Slow, on purpose
One email a month. Nothing to keep up with, and nothing to feel behind on.
Practical, not preachy
Tools you can try in a few minutes. We trust you to run your own life. We just hand you something useful.
Kinder to you
You don't need to be perfect to make good choices. Every issue is written to leave you feeling more capable, never more behind.
What this isn't
MGC isn't therapy, and the letter doesn't give clinical advice. It isn't a fix-your-life plan either. It's one person sharing what's helped and handing you a few tools. Take what's useful and leave the rest.
Why MGC exists
“This movement started with a simple idea: that kindness should be visible. That care should be loud.”
Mik Simons, founder of Make Good Choices
Community
MGC is a place, not just a page.
The letter is one way into the MGC community. Reply to any issue and tell us what landed, what didn't, and what you'd like to see next.
Know someone who could use a kinder inbox? Forward them a letter. We rise together.

Quick answers
How often will I hear from you?
Once a month. Now and then there might be a short extra note about something new at MGC, but the monthly letter is the heart of it.
Is it free?
Yes. Joining the letter is free.
Will you try to sell me things?
You'll see an MGC product mentioned now and then, framed around why it exists. It's never a hard sell, and you can skip right past it.
Is this therapy or medical advice?
No. MGC isn't a therapy brand and the letter doesn't give clinical advice. If you need support, the numbers at the bottom of this page are a good place to start.
Can I unsubscribe?
Any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and no hard feelings.
If something here brings stuff up for you, you don't have to sit with it alone.
